What Does BCFS Stand For?

BCFS stands for Baptist Children And Family Services

BCFS is a global system of non-profit health and human service organizations operating programs throughout the U.S., Eastern Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia and Africa. Our organization is constantly evolving to meet the unmet needs of at-risk populations. In partnership with government agencies, other non-profits, private corporations and community leaders throughout the nation, BCFS is developing new programs and service models that combat challenges faced by children, families and communities that are struggling. For 70 years, we have strived to build systems that make a lasting impact on those we serve.* Emergency management and medical sheltering during public health disasters* Residential services and emergency shelters for children who are abused and neglected* Assisted living services and vocational training for adults with intellectual disabilities* Mental health services for children and families* Foster care and adoption services* Medical services to impoverished communities* Transitional living services for youth aging out of foster care and those in the juvenile justice system* Residential camping and retreats for children and families* International humanitarian aid for children living in impoverished conditions in developing countries
