What Does EPIA Stand For?

EPIA stands for Egg Products Inspection Act

The Egg Products Inspection Act (EPIA) is a United States federal law that mandates the inspection and safety of egg products. Enforced by the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the EPIA ensures that all processed egg products, including liquid, frozen, and dried eggs, meet strict quality and sanitary standards to protect public health. The Act aims to prevent the distribution of adulterated or misbranded egg products in the marketplace.
