The National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) was an organization responsible for the development and promotion of space activities in Japan. Established to coordinate Japan's space missions and research, NASDA played a vital role in the country's space exploration efforts, satellite launches, and international collaborations until it merged with other agencies in 2003 to form the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
